Meet Jarod.
Jarod didn’t learn about cars from a manual; he learned from the ground up in a Southeast Kansas salvage yard. Growing up in that environment gave him a level of technical expertise most dealers simply don't have. He knows how to look past a fresh detail to see the frame, the mechanical "bones," and the true history of a vehicle. This lifetime of experience-from running salvage yards to managing businesses across the state-dictates every purchase made for the STICE lot.
In addition to his mechanical background, Jarod brings a rare level of professional depth to the dealership. Having previously served as a business consultant for the Kansas Small Business Development Center as well as a business banker for Emprise Bank, he understands the financial side of purchases better than most. Whether you are a family on a budget or a business owner looking for a specific financial strategy to grow your fleet, Jarod’s business and banking experience allows him to navigate the "numbers side" of the deal with the same precision he uses under the hood.
Jarod specializes in:
Mechanical Reliability: He has an eye for spotting common mechanical red flags before a vehicle ever hits the lot.
Rebuilt Salvage Titles: He understands the paperwork, safety standards, and hurdles of title issues that others find daunting.
Specialized Inventory: From heavy-duty Diesel trucks for the oil fields to boats for El Dorado Lake, Jarod hand-picks units that fit the specific needs of our Kansas community.
When he’s not hunting down the next unique find, Jarod is a "Family First" kind of guy. Whether he’s out on the golf course, heading to the lake with Jessica and the boys (Jude and Jack), or cranking up some Red Dirt music, he’s usually the funniest person in the room. A proud Pitt State Gorilla, he brings that same loyalty and Southeast Kansas work ethic to everything he does.
With over 30 years in the automotive, RV, motorcycle, and boat industries, Jarod has bought and sold thousands of vehicles. To him, those aren't just numbers-they represent thousands of titles cleared, engines inspected, and neighbors helped. He knows his reputation is on the line with every key he hands over, so he only sells what he’d be comfortable seeing his own family drive.
